LGBTQ Social/Ritual Space–October Coming Out Stories

October 11, 2026

Our next LGBTQ+ social event will be Sunday, October 11, at 6pm. In honor of National Coming Out Day, we’ll make space for sharing our coming out and/or transitioning stories. Whether you have come out once or many times, as gay or lesbian or bisexual or pansexual or trans or something else, your story is sacred and welcome. We always do a round or two of light icebreaker questions, too, so we can get to know one another. All are welcome!

If weather permits, we’ll gather around the firepit. NOTE: This is likely to be the last LGBTQ+ Sunday night gathering for a while, so we hope you can come! Dress warm and bring a blanket if you like!

Please, no alcohol out of sensitivity to those in recovery. We’ll have something to snack on, and you are welcome to bring something for yourself or to share.

Access notes: We gather about 100 feet from the parking lot. You can go partway on paved walkway but the rest is over grass and pine needles. There are single-stall, all-gender restrooms available indoors about 75 feet from the fire circle. We have a variety of seating available, and you are also welcome to bring your own. Masks are welcome but not required. Please do not come if you are feeling sick. Please feel free to reach out about other accessibility needs.
