Coming Home, Living into Hope: A faith and spirituality retreat for men of all sexual orientations, gender identities and life journeys
As men of faith, this retreat will be a time of coming home and living into hope. As we emerge from these unprecedented times of pandemic and change, we will celebrate being in the company of friends, longtime and new, as coming home. As gay, bisexual and trans men, we will live into hope through sharing our stories, uncommon conversations, reflection and play. Being on the mountain offers us opportunities to experience beautiful vistas, the adventure of hiking trails and the peacefulness of simply being in the cathedrals of nature.
Retreat Leader: Michael Adee, Ph.D. is a human rights advocate. He has been working in the LGBT and HIV-AIDS communities since 1988. He earned his Ph.D. in Communication at Louisiana State University. Michael has been a university teacher, hospice chaplain, campus minister, tennis coach and a humanitarian relief worker in Zimbabwe. He has been involved in both LGBT political and faith-work organizing.
