The word common originally meant ‘together-as one,’ ‘shared alike’ and ‘bound together by obligation.’
Heather Menzies, Reclaiming the Commons for the Common Good

Kirkridge is based on embracing the sacred and honoring the common good in our lives. Just like our national parks, retreat centers are good for our common soul. Service is a core value to our work whether we are staff or volunteers. We work and volunteer here because at our core we believe that it is for the common good of all that places like Kirkridge survive.
This program is one of service to the land of Kirkridge and our buildings that together we enjoy in common. Bring your outdoor tools, your energy, your willingness to be a part of something that will beatify this sacred place we all love.
We will enjoy time to relax, share conversation, dreams and a bit of music during our time together.
The weekend will be led by Jim Sims, an active Kirkridge Governing Board member, Courage and Renewal facilitator, skilled craftsman and amazing musician.

Cost $250 includes double occupancy room and board.
