We will explore how our spirits age as well as our bodies. We will seek to share and incorporate the Wisdom we encounter along the way, how at each life stage we gather and embrace new insights and practices as well let many things go.

Invite friends for this rich time together on the mountain. The more the merrier! We hope folks who take part in the wider weekend program will also be part of Sisterly.

We’ll start with a lovely dinner Thursday night—outside if weather permits. Prepare to introduce us to your imaginary guest, someone who is a wise crone in your experience. Plan to tell us what inspires you about this woman and how she aged in wisdom and grace. She reflects your experience as well.

On Friday, we’ll have the day to ourselves for several sessions on bodies, spirits, and end of life issues. It promises to be a wonderful time to think about our lives, individual and collective, and to set some new goals and practices for our spirits. We welcome your input as we finalize the program.

We’ll meet after lunch on Friday, and then have a nice break for recreation and rest before we have dinner and begin the weekend program with colleagues. Saturday afternoon we will reconvene as Sisterly for a time and Sunday morning we will touch base one more time just us before the communal closing worship.

This program represents a change, indeed an expansion of our usual way of being together. Since it was greeted with enthusiasm in our closing session last September, we are hopeful that it will be an expansive and celebrative time for all as we join in the 40th Celebration of LGBTQ lives at Kirkridge.

Cost $90  includes double occupancy room, board and tuition. Register separately for the 40th anniversary celebration
